"Communities often look to artists to provide the bridge between what has happened in the past and what is needed going forward.  When the Exhibition Committee of the West Windsor Arts Council sat down last September, this was exactly their intention in creating the Harmony exhibition.  At that meeting the conversation revolved around how to bring people together, “There are too many things up in the air right now.  What makes us feel grounded and connected and how can art accomplish this?”  When the Exhibition Committee created the theme of Harmony, they did so with the understanding that a great chasm has developed in our communities and that at this time, post election, we would need to work on coming together in order to move forward and heal..."

NEW YORK | WOMEN ARTISTS FROM FRANCE TO USA ARE BACK IN NEW YORK WITH ITS THIRD EDITION CALLED ITINERANCY #03

Artists Pascale ROUX DE BÉZIEUX-Photographer, Carole Jury-Painter, Gaëlle HINTZY-MARCEL-Sculptor and Marine FUTIN-Drawer are thrilled to launch the third edition of Women Artists from France to the USA called “itinerancy#03” in New York City on October 23 & 24. This new temporary art exhibition will be hosted by VICTORI+MO Gallery located at 242W 22 Street.

 

After the success of the first edition in Paris with JPHT Gallery in May 2019 and of the second exhibition in October 2019 in New Hope PA and NYC with the support of Gallery des Artists, 

These women artists are coming back with new artists and new art in New York.

As a dialogue between female artists, itinerancy #03 brings together four different forms of artistic expression.

To ensure they are providing a safe visit to the exhibition, they will follow the CDC & New York authorities guidelines: mandatory Mask, physical distancing of 6 ft, limited Capacity.

(USA - May 1, 2020) - Carole Jury, a French abstract painter based in USA for six years, has been selected with one of her painting from "Lagoon" Series by MuseumWeek's team 2020.

The master of "Lagoon" Series (48"x72"), painted entirely with oil paint from her sponsor Daler-Rowney and knives, have had an amazing destiny. 

 

The story started during the annual exhibition called "Together We Art" organized by Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) during last November where she was sold to benefit LP4Y US by the member of the board of this international organization who supported young adults victims of exclusion.

When the MuseumWeek solicited Carole Jury for associating "Togetherness" with this painting, the word "Together" already took on its full meaning" said the artist Carole Jury...
